Benedetta Ricci

Content Manager at Artland

Benedetta Ricci has had a diverse work experience in the art and conservation field. Benedetta started working at Artland in November 2020 as a Content Manager and Creative Art Writer. Prior to that, they worked at Michela Fasce Restauro from August 2018 to August 2019 as a Conservation Studio Assistant. Benedetta also had an internship at KIK-IRPA from March 2018 to June 2018. In 2016, Benedetta had two internships, one at Michela Fasce Restauro where they gained insights into the history of art techniques and paintings' restoration, and another at Centro Conservazione e Restauro "La Venaria Reale". Additionally, they worked as a Tour Guide at a temporary exhibition "Le incredibili macchine di Leonardo" at Sant'Agostino Church and Museum from April 2013 to June 2014.

Benedetta Ricci's education history includes attending the Università di Pisa in 2018 for a summer school program focused on the diagnosis in Heritage Science, with a specific emphasis on modern and contemporary art. Prior to that, Benedetta attended the Università degli Studi di Genova, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Conservation of Cultural Heritage (L-1). Benedetta then pursued a Master's degree in Techniques for conservation and restoration of Cultural Heritage (LM-11) at the same university.

Additionally, Benedetta obtained the IELTS Academic Certificate from IELTS Official in February 2020 and completed a certification course titled "Engaging the Art Market in the fight against illicit trafficking of cultural property" from UNESCO in March 2019.
