Jeff Stice-Hall has worked in the IT industry since 2000. Jeff began their career as a Network Administrator and Software Developer for the KU Center for Research, Inc. in 2000. In 2005, they took on the role of Sr. Network Administrator for PlattForm Advertising, where they implemented numerous technologies and achieved rapid solutions for the growing business. In 2007, they joined Art & Logic as the Director of IT Operations, where they designed and maintained a distributed 'virtual office' and provided software architecture leadership for a variety of client projects. That same year, they also began working for Asurion as a Sr. Operations Analyst. In 2020, Jeff took on the role of Chief Information Security Officer for Up n' Go Contactless Payments for Restaurants, where they built an information security program and advised senior management on risk assessment matters. In 2021, they began working as an Adjunct Instructor at The University of Kansas, teaching a Cybersecurity Bootcamp, and also took on the role of Chief Information Security Officer for Pluto Health.

Jeff Stice-Hall obtained a BS in Computer Science from The University of Kansas between 2000 and 2004. Jeff then obtained a CompTIA Security+ certification from CompTIA in July 2004, a Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator - Windows 2003 certification from Microsoft in August 2003, and a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)² in May 2012. In 2013, they obtained an AWS Business Professional certification from Amazon Web Services in July, an AWS Technical Professional certification from Amazon Web Services in July, and a Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge from the Cloud Security Alliance in November. In 2014, they obtained a Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP) certification from (ISC)² in January. In 2016, they obtained a Parallel Programming certification from Coursera Course Certificates in September, a Functional Program Design in Scala certification from Coursera Course Certificates in August, and a Functional Programming Principles in Scala certification from Coursera Course Certificates in July. In 2015, they obtained a Cryptography certification from Coursera Verified Certificates in April, a Software Security certification from Coursera Verified Certificates in April, a Hardware Security certification from Coursera Verified Certificates in March, and a Usable Security certification from Coursera Verified Certificates in March. In 2011, they obtained a Certified ScrumMaster certification from the Scrum Alliance in June. In 2017, they obtained an Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) certification from Offensive Security in July, and an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services in May.
