Girish Dwivedi is a distinguished cardiologist currently serving as the Wesfarmers Chair and Consultant Cardiologist at The University of Western Australia and Fiona Stanley Hospital since January 2017. In addition, Girish has held the position of Director of the Cardiometabolic Clinic at the Centre for Cardiometabolic Health and Research since January 2023. Girish's extensive experience includes leadership roles at the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research, where responsibilities include Joint Head of the Cardiovascular Disease and Diabetes Program and Wesfarmers Chair in Cardiology. Additionally, Girish is an Adjunct Professor of Cardiology at the University of Sydney and has been instrumental in the development of healthcare technologies as Chief Scientific Officer and Chief Medical Officer at Artrya Ltd, as well as Co-Founder and Director at lubdub.ai. Educational achievements include Fellowships from RACP Australia and the European Society of Cardiology, alongside a PhD in Cardiovascular Science from The University of Manchester and other notable medical qualifications.
