Elissa O'Malley

Elissa O'Malley has a strong background in human resources and people management. Elissa began their career in 2001 with Australian Volunteers International, where they served as the Manager of People & Organisational Development for nearly 17 years until February 2018.

In March 2018, Elissa joined Arts Centre Melbourne as the Associate Director of Human Resources. Elissa held this role for three and a half years before being promoted to Director of People & Wellbeing in September 2021. In April 2022, Elissa briefly served as the Interim Chief People Officer before returning to their position as Director of People & Wellbeing.

Elissa's current role at Arts Centre Melbourne is Director of People & Wellbeing, a position they have held since October 2022. Overall, their experience spans over 20 years in various HR leadership roles, demonstrating their expertise in managing people and driving organizational development.

Elissa O'Malley attended Deakin University from 1998 to 2001, where they pursued a Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management. Prior to that, they studied at the University of Melbourne from 1991 to 1995, earning a Bachelor of Music (Therapy) degree.
