Mumtaz Ali

Mumtaz Ali has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Mumtaz most recently served as the Director of Financial Accounts and Counter Fraud at Arts Council England since August 2022. Prior to that, they held the role of Chief Financial Accountant at the same organization from June 2013 to July 2022. Ali also worked as an Independent Board Member at First Choice Homes Oldham starting in September 2015. Before that, they were employed as the Principal Accountant at Six Town Housing from February 2011 to June 2013. Ali's expertise in finance and corporate services is evident from their position as Director of Finance and Corporate Services at Droylsden Academy from March 2009 to February 2011. Earlier in their career, they worked as the Finance Manager at the Greater Manchester Probation Board from April 1999 to March 2009. Ali began their professional journey as an Auditor at MST Audit, where they worked between 1997 and 1999.

Mumtaz Ali pursued their Executive MBA from Aston University from 2018 to 2022. Prior to this, they completed their BSc (Hons) degree in Economics & Computer Science from The University of Salford, where they studied from 1990 to 1994. Mumtaz Ali's educational journey began at Bacup & Rawtenstall Grammar School, where they studied from 1982 to 1989.
