Ozzie Vasdi

Ozzie Vasdi has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering and web development. They started their career as a Computer and Network Technician at Triborough Electric, Inc. in 2013 and worked there until 2016. In 2016, Ozzie enrolled as a Web Development Student at The Flatiron School and completed the program by the end of the year.

In 2017, Ozzie had two roles simultaneously. They worked as an Engineering Intern at TripleLift from January to July 2017, where they performed big data ETL tasks, maintained business critical tools, and contributed to web applications built on microservices architecture. During their time at TripleLift, Ozzie also contributed to building Triplelift's Pipeline Manager, a web application incorporating PHP 7, Symfony Framework, Docker, and PGSQL.

In the same year, Ozzie joined INSIDER as a Software Engineer in September. They primarily focused on the web application and infrastructure layer, with notable contributions including creating a data pipeline to power a search system using NodeJS, Typescript, and Elasticsearch. Ozzie worked at INSIDER until May 2021.

Ozzie's most recent work experience is as a Full Stack Engineer at Artsy, starting in May 2021.

Ozzie Vasdi's education history begins with obtaining an Associate's Degree in Business Administration, Management, and Operations from Suffolk County Community College between 2004 and 2007. They then pursued a Bachelor's Degree in the same field at Stony Brook University from 2008 to 2010. In 2015, Ozzie engaged in self-directed education by enrolling in edX, focusing on Computer Science. Finally, in 2016, they attended the Flatiron School to acquire a Full Stack Web Development degree, specializing in the field of Web Development.
