Denise Vine

Denise Vine's work experience includes being a Trustee of Solent Mind, a leading mental health charity, since June 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Arun District Council from 2013, where they held various roles such as Head of Economy Group and Head of Economic Regeneration. Denise was responsible for leading the economic regeneration service, including business support, tourism business support, town centre management, and physical regeneration projects. Denise also worked at Portsmouth City Council as a Regeneration Manager, where they led various services related to employment, skills initiatives, business support, and European funding. Denise had previous experience in community regeneration and planning roles.

Denise Vine holds a Level 7 Certificate in Leading Sustainable Communities from the Institute of Leadership and Management, which they obtained in 2008. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in Public Sector Studies at the University of Portsmouth, completing it between 1995 and 1999. Before their studies at Portsmouth, they obtained a Foundation degree in BA from The Open University, which they completed from 1992 to 1994.
