Christopher Sharer

Christopher Sharer has over 30 years of work experience, with their most recent position being as the Director of Information Technology at Arundel Federal Savings Bank since August 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Technical Account Manager at BITS, a New Era Technology company from December 2019 to August 2022. Christopher also held the role of Vice President, Information Technology at Old Line Bank from July 2017 to December 2019. Christopher has a strong background in information technology, having served as the Senior Vice President Information Technology at Damascus Community Bank from January 2010 to July 2017, and as a System Engineer at Daly Computers from December 2001 to February 2005. Christopher began their career as a Computer Support Specialist in the US Army from January 1998 to August 2000.

Christopher Sharer's education history includes two periods of enrollment in the US Army. From 1990 to 1990, they studied as an Air Traffic Control (ATC) Operator (93C). Then, from 1995 to 1996, they pursued a field of study in Intelligence Analysis (96B) as an Intelligence Analyst. Throughout their career, Christopher also obtained several certifications. In 2000, they received the MCSE1: Windows NT 4.0 certification from Microsoft. In 2002, they obtained the CompTIA A+ and Citrix CCA certifications. Additionally, in 2003, they earned the CompTIA Server+ certification, followed by the CompTIA Security+ certification in 2004, both from CompTIA.
