Benshun Shao

Benshun Shao is a Senior Structural and Risk Engineer at Arup, with prior experience as a Structural and Risk Engineer within the same company. Benshun served as a Graduate Student Researcher and Graduate Student Instructor at the University of California, Berkeley, where Benshun completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Structural Engineering/Earthquake Engineering from 2014 to 2018 and a Master of Science (M.S.) in Structural Engineering from 2013 to 2014. Benshun's early career includes experience as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Tongji University and a Summer Intern at China Railway Erju Co., Ltd. (Crec).
