Shyju Somasundaran

Shyju Somasundaran is a highly experienced IT professional currently serving as a Cloud Compute Senior Operations Engineer at Arup since January 2016, focusing on internal IT infrastructure projects, stakeholder engagement, and project lifecycle management. Prior to this role, Shyju worked at Medibank in Sydney, Australia, from December 2010 to January 2016, where responsibilities included leading projects related to compute, storage, cloud, and virtualization as a Senior Systems/Storage Engineer cum Tech Lead. Earlier experience includes roles as a Senior Systems Engineer and Systems Engineer at Medibank, as well as a Technical Solution Consultant at HP Global Soft in Bangalore, and positions in Dubai with Emitac and Al Sayegh Brothers Computers. Shyju holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Applications and a three-year Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering.
