Andrew Madsen

Andrew Madsen is a Principal MLOps Architect at ARUP Laboratories since September 2025, focusing on platform and operations within the Research and Innovation Operations (RIO) group. Prior to this role, Madsen held various positions at Pluralsight from March 2018 to July 2025, including Director of ML Platform and Director of Data Platform, where significant achievements included leading migration to Kubernetes, integrating data systems, and developing real-time data pipelines. Madsen's career in data engineering began at Jacobs, contributing to real-time data infrastructure, and included roles at URS Corporation as a Statistical Analyst and as a Research Assistant at the University of Utah. Madsen holds a Master’s degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, both from the University of Utah.
