Miranda Rashid

Miranda Rashid is an experienced educator and founder with a diverse background in drama, education, and community engagement. As a teacher at Braeburn International School Arusha since August 2013, Miranda specializes in secondary education in drama, English, geography, and history. As the Founder and Managing Director of Seka, established in February 2002, responsibilities include overseeing technical direction, project management, financial oversight, marketing, and staff training. Previous roles include consultant at Now Consulting (Africa), community researcher for Malambo Drama Group, and actor-facilitator for Report Back Africa. Miranda also has experience in safari guiding and camp management from a position at NORMAN CARR SAFARIS. Educational qualifications include a PGCEi from the University of Nottingham and a BA in Drama and Classics from Rhodes University.
