Melissa Barnes

Melissa Barnes has a diverse work experience starting from 2019. Melissa worked as a Toy Library Assistant at Carlson Toy Library from June 2019 to December 2019. After that, they joined Tank Juice Bar as a Store Assistant from November 2021 to February 2022. In 2022, Melissa took on multiple roles. Melissa worked at MyTuition as an NCEA Tutor from February 2022 onwards. At the same time, they joined The Sustainable Future Collective as a Social Media Manager and Arvida Group Limited as a Sustainability Administrator, both starting from November 2022.

Melissa Barnes completed their Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Global Studies from The University of Auckland, specializing in Global Environment & Sustainable Development, Psychology, and Physiology. Melissa attended the university from 2022 to 2027.

Before their university education, Melissa attended Mount Albert Grammar School from 2017 to 2021. Melissa completed their NCEA Levels 1, 2, and 3 at the school and received endorsements with Excellence.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Melissa obtained several certifications. Melissa completed a 5 Day Pro Barista Foundation Course at The Barista Academy NZ in June 2022. Melissa also earned a first aid certification at St John Ambulance in January 2021. Moreover, Melissa achieved Grade 5 Piano with Distinction from Trinity College London in October 2021. Melissa's NCEA Levels 1, 2, and 3 were endorsed with Excellence by the New Zealand Qualifications Authority in November 2021.
