Douglas Ferreira

Douglas Ferreira is an experienced software engineering leader, currently serving as VP of Software Engineering at Wellhub since June 2017, where responsibilities encompass architecture definition, design of global applications, and continuous integration implementation across multiple platforms, including Ruby on Rails, NodeJs, and Scala. Prior roles include Lead Architect at UnitedHealth Group and Tech Advisor at Arvo Saúde. Douglas has a strong background in microservices, DevOps, and site reliability engineering, and has contributed to the development of complex systems in various organizations, including Amil and Polishop. Douglas holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Universidade Estadual de Maringá and completed executive education at Kellogg.
