Eric Gu

Eric Gu is a multifaceted design professional with extensive experience in innovation and technology. Currently serving as the Director of AR+ELIERS STUDIO since September 2017, Eric specializes in concept, product, and experience design, collaborating with a range of organizations from Fortune 100 companies to startups. In parallel, Eric holds the position of Lecturer at TU Delft's Industrial Design Engineering program and serves as the Chief AI Officer at ARxVision, where leadership focuses on developing an Auditory-AR operating system tailored for blind users. Eric's entrepreneurial spirit is evident through the founding of ZINC and the development of OptiMum.ai, a supportive chatbot for new parents. Academic contributions include a Teaching Fellow role at Imperial College London, where curriculum for emerging technologies was co-created, and multimodal research at Keio University, focusing on haptics and virtual reality.
