A Bachelor of Commerce from Waseda University, Japan and a Certified Public Accountant, Japan, Maki San worked with Arthur Andersen Tokyo from 1997-2001 where he was engaged in audit for multinational companies, F/S conversion project from Japanese GAAP to US GAAP, IAS JSOX and valuation and IPO consulting services. He subsequently moved to KPMG, Kuala Lumpur where he worked as Manager, Japanese Practice and provided advisory services on investment, tax and accounting. This was followed by a stint at KPMG Tokyo as Manager, Transaction Service where he continued to provide M&A Advisory and due diligence services.

An expert at structuring Japanese businesses from the accounting and tax perspective, Maki San has ample experience working for IT related company as the CFO for IPO whilst providing financial consulting services to several listed and non-listed companies. In his leisure time, he enjoys playing tennis.
