Irina van der Hoorn

Irina van der Hoorn is a sustainability leader with a robust background in environmental stewardship and policy influence. Currently serving as the Sustainability Lead at Asahi Europe & International since May 2022, Irina develops and implements strategies to enhance resource efficiency and reduce carbon footprints. Prior to this role, Irina was a Senior Policy Advisor at D66, where efforts focused on driving sustainability policy during political transitions. As a Managing Consultant at Guidehouse, strategic project management and stakeholder engagement were key responsibilities, further enhanced through prior positions at Navigant and Ecofys. Irina also contributed to youth empowerment initiatives as a Project Manager at the Missing Chapter Foundation. Educational qualifications include an Executive Education Leadership Programme from INSEAD and degrees in Environmental Sciences, Business Administration, and Public Administration from various institutions.
