Alejandro Zavala Palacios

Alejandro Zavala Palacios is a seasoned communication and political consultant currently serving as a Columnista for Primicias since September 2023, providing weekly insights in the country's leading digital newspaper. In addition, Alejandro holds the position of político adviser in the Office of the President at the Consejo de Regulación y Desarrollo de la Información y Comunicación since June 2022 and is a Professor Titular of the Ethics of Political Communication course at Universidad de Las Américas. Further experience includes strategic communications consultancy for General Motors since August 2012, and political communication consultancy roles with the Asamblea Nacional del Ecuador and various political entities. Alejandro's educational background includes a Master's degree in Institutional Communication from Universidad de Ciencias Empresariales y Sociales and a degree from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador.
