Madhurjya Roy

Madhurjya Roy is a Senior Software Engineer with extensive experience in backend development and API management. Currently at ASAPP since January 2023, Madhurjya is part of the Platform Team. Prior to this, a tenure at Newfold Digital from July 2019 to January 2023 included roles as a Senior Software Engineer, Software Engineer 2, and Software Engineer 1, where significant contributions included the development of a sliding-window rate-limiter plugin for the Kong API gateway, an API caching system utilizing Redis and Kafka Streams, and the Pharaoh authentication service extending Keycloak with advanced security features. Additionally, a brief role at OpenText involved developing frontend components in Angular for the TeamSite platform and writing automation tests. Madhurjya holds a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering from Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology, completed in 2019.
