Hector Rafael Renderos Silva has extensive experience in the field of microfinance and business development, currently serving as Financial Advisor to the Board at ASAPROSAR, where responsibilities include advising on the Microenterprise Credit Program and designing new financial products. As a Senior Consultant since 2013 for FUNDAMICRO and various international organizations, Hector Rafael provides training and consultancy services in credit portfolio management, risk management, and entrepreneurship. Previous roles include senior consulting positions with international agencies such as BID and USAID, as well as directorial and managerial responsibilities at USAID-FUNZEL and Banco de América Central, emphasizing business development and operational strategy. Hector Rafael holds a degree in Business Administration from Universidad Politécnica de El Salvador and completed advanced management training at INCAE Business School.

ASAPROSAR empowers the poor through health care, youth leadership training, environmental and nutritional education, microcredit, and community development. Priority is given to children, youth and women in rural and marginalized urban settings.
