Richard Manieri

Richard Manieri is an accomplished academic and communications professional with extensive experience in journalism and media relations. Currently serving as a Professor of Journalism at Asbury University since July 2018, Richard also holds the position of Deputy Opinion Editor for LNP Media Group. Previous roles include Assistant Professor and Head Women's Lacrosse Coach at Asbury University and various communication consultant positions for high-profile clients, including the U.S. Attorney's Office and the Tennessee Valley Authority. Richard has a solid background in public affairs, having served as the Spokesman and Director of Public Affairs for the U.S. Attorney's Office, and has worked as a Television News Reporter and Anchor for multiple news stations. Richard holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Villanova University and two Master of Fine Arts degrees in Creative Writing from Lesley University.
