Melissa Meador, LCPC, NCC, serves as a Clinical Therapist at ASCENDchc since July 2019. Prior experience includes roles as a Nutrition Therapy Technician at Timberline Knolls Residential Treatment Center from October 2016 to July 2019, and a Counseling Intern at The Renfrew Center from July 2018 to June 2019. Melissa also held positions as a Diet Tech at Center For Discovery from August 2016 to May 2017 and as a Dietetic Extern at Ingalls Memorial Hospital during a brief period in 2016. Education credentials include a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The Chicago School (2017 - 2019) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science and Human Nutrition with a Concentration in Dietetics from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (2012 - 2016). Additionally, Melissa has experience as a Teaching Assistant for Kinesiology 104 and as a Learn-to-Skate Instructor during their studies at the University of Illinois.
