Hugh Thompson is an experienced supply chain management professional with a strong background in logistics, purchasing, and inventory management across various industries. Currently serving as Director of Supply Chain Management at Ascend Clinical since October 2019, responsibilities include managing the ERP system and enhancing its capabilities. Prior roles include Global Director of Logistics at Kateeva, where a focus on basic logistics metrics was established, and Director of Materials at MKS Instruments / Spectra-Physics, where process automation led to significant workforce reductions while supporting business growth. Hugh also held positions at Fresenius / Spectra Laboratories and Skyline Solar, Inc., where responsibilities included ensuring the availability of essential supplies and managing ERP implementations.
