Benoit Tranape has extensive experience in the field of engineering and water treatment. Benoit is currently the Director of Advanced Manufacturing Engineering at Ascend Elements, where they lead the engineering team responsible for scaling the company's technology for battery material manufacturing. Prior to that, they worked as the Technical Director at ALSYS Group, where they managed sales, project execution, and commissioning for membrane and equipment sales projects. Benoit also held roles at Veolia Water Technologies and Veolia Water, serving as a Process Engineering Manager and Deputy Commissioning Manager. In their early career, they worked as a Pilot and Proposal Engineer and an Application Engineer at GE Water & Process Technologies.
Benoit Tranape completed a Bachelor of Science in Management from Imperial College London in 2003. In 2004, they pursued Chemical Engineering studies at ETSEQ in Tarragona, Spain. Additionally, from 2000 to 2004, they attended ENSIC Engineering School in Nancy, France, earning a degree in Chemical and Process Engineering. Benoit also received a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from ENSIC in the same period.
