David Jang

David Jang, MBA, has extensive experience in the battery and energy storage industry. David currently serves as the Director of Asia Partnership at Ascend Elements, where they are responsible for managing partnerships in Asia. Prior to this role, David was the Chief Executive Officer at CellaTech Company Limited, where they supplied cathode active materials to LG Chem and provided strategic business consulting services for clients interested in lithium-ion electrode and cell manufacturing equipment. David also served as the Senior Director/Leader of the Business Development team at Nexcon Technology, where they managed global team operations and business development for battery management systems and energy storage systems. David has also held leadership positions at ENER1KOREA, Vitzrocell Co., Ltd., ICIT Co., Ltd., and Young Poong Corporation, gaining experience in manufacturing lithium-ion cells, lithium primary batteries, and rechargeable alkaline cells.

David Jang earned their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Indiana University - Kelley School of Business in 2012. Their studies focused on management, marketing, and strategy.
