Christos Mantzoros

Christos Mantzoros is a Technical Assistant in Downstream Process Development at Ascend Advanced Therapies since May 2023. Prior experience includes a Master Thesis Project at Helmholtz Zentrum München, focusing on the role of mitochondria in Alzheimer's disease under Prof. Dr. Fabiana Perocchi from August 2021 to January 2022, as well as research projects at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München in the labs of Dr. Tamara Mikeladze-Dvali and Prof. Dr. Christof Osman between October 2020 and February 2021. Christos also interned at BSRC Alexander Fleming from March to October 2018, where the thesis investigated the SLC25A46 protein's domains related to mitochondrial topology under Dr. Eleni Douni. Christos holds a Master's degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (January 2023) and an Integrated Master's in Biotechnology - Agricultural Science from Agricultural University of Athens (April 2019).
