Fahad Bashir

Fahad Bashir has a strong and diverse work experience spanning over many years. Fahad worked at Ascend Healthcare Solutions as the Chief Financial Officer starting in January 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Operating Officer from January 2020 to January 2022. Before joining Ascend, Fahad worked at GE Healthcare in various roles. Fahad served as the Director of Operations from June 2016 to December 2019. Prior to that, they held positions such as FP&A Manager & Commercial Finance Manager Saudi from October 2015 to May 2016, Commercial Finance Manager from August 2013 to September 2015, and Financial Controller from November 2011 to August 2013. Fahad also held the role of Assistant Controller/Team Leader from January 2010 to November 2011 and started their career as a Financial Analyst at GE Healthcare from September 2007 to December 2009. Prior to joining GE Healthcare, Fahad worked at EY as a Senior Auditor from June 2005 to August 2007. Overall, Fahad brings a wealth of experience in financial management, operations, and audit to their current and previous roles.

Fahad Bashir obtained their Certified Accounting Professional degree from ICAP between 2002 and 2005. Fahad then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Northampton from 2020 to 2021. In addition, they also hold a certification in ACMA-CGMA from CIMA in the field of Accounting and Finance. Fahad Bashir recently acquired the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in 2021.
