Paul Lacey

Head of Product Marketing at Ascend

Paul Lacey has a diverse work experience, starting from their role as a Product Marketing Engineer at Power Integrations in 2007. Paul later co-founded and led tagSurf, a social media web application that allowed users to personalize their content based on voting for quality and relevance.

After tagSurf, Lacey held various marketing leadership positions, including Senior Director of Marketing at Hint Health, Director of Product Marketing at Treasure Data, and CMO in Residence at Play Bigger. At Matillion, they served as Senior Director of Product Marketing and later as Senior Director of Strategic Marketing, where they achieved significant accomplishments such as launching new enterprise personas and generating a $2.5 million pipeline in three months through a sales enablement program.

Paul also worked as the Director of Product Marketing at Ephesoft, Inc. and contributed as an angel investor in startups focused on relationship health and shipping & logistics. Currently, Lacey holds the position of Head of Product Marketing at Ascend.io, a leader in data pipeline automation.

Paul Lacey earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo. Paul studied at the university from 2004 to 2007.
