Ascend Leadership
Kimberly Brutus serves as the Lead Program Manager for the NorCal Chapter of Ascend Leadership since June 2023. Prior experiences include roles as a Marketing Intern at IW Group Inc., a Product Marketing Intern at a Stealth Startup, and an Audit & Ethics Intern at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. Kimberly also held the position of Marketing Lead for the Veterans First Program at Las Positas College and contributed to growth strategy and marketing as an intern at Open Thinking Space. Leadership experience includes serving as State President and California State Officer with Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda, alongside founding Lucy’s Aquatic Plant Shop, achieving significant sales and recognition on eBay. Kimberly holds multiple degrees from the University of California, Berkeley, and Las Positas College, including a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a SCET Certificate in Entrepreneurship & Technology.
