Frederic Barrois has extensive work experience in the aviation industry. Frederic started their career in 2002 as an Aerodynamic Design Engineer on Engine Integration at Aeroconseil. In 2005, they moved to Airbus as an Aerodynamic Methods and Tools Engineer. At Airbus, they held various roles, including R&T Project Leader, Flight Physics Flight Test Integration A330neo, A350-1000 Flight Physics Flight Test Plateau leader, HO Contractual Mass Properties, and HO Mass Properties Operations France. In 2023, Frederic will join Ascendance Flight Technologies as the Overall Aircraft Design lead.
Frederic Barrois completed their secondary education in mathematics (Sup & Spe) at Lycee Saint Louis - Paris from 1996 to 1999. Frederic then obtained a Diplôme d'ingénieur in Mécanique des fluides numérique from Ecole centrale de Nantes between 1999 and 2002. In 2016, they obtained a PMI PMP certification from Project Management Institute, and in 1994, they obtained a Glider Pilot license.
