Lynn Munroe

VP of Media Strategy at Ascendant Group

Lynn Munroe has over 30 years of experience in the media industry. Lynn began their career in 1985 as a TV Writer/Producer for DWJ Television. In 1987, they became a Sales Executive and Executive Producer for Associated Press Television News. From 1989 to 2006, they worked at Reader's Digest as the Associate Director, Executive Producer, PR Specialist, and Creative Media Services Group Head. During this time, they were responsible for all electronic public relations campaigns, creative productions, writing and producing, television placement of RD news, PR collaborations/partnerships with networks and cable outlets, TV show "RD Living Well" and podcast "RD Out Loud," as well as CEO earnings and employee announcements. Lynn also ran a full-service television studio and a staff of five. In 2006, they founded and became the CEO of Maracaibo Media Group. From 2009 to 2020, they were the Director of Corporate Communications at Grandparents.com. Currently, they are the VP of Media Strategy at Ascendant Group.

Lynn Munroe graduated from New York University in 1985 with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Politics.
