Michael Kirkbride

Michael Kirkbride is an experienced game designer and writer, currently serving as the Lead Writer and Senior Narrative Designer at Ascendant Studios since April 2019. Prior to this role, Michael held positions at Skybound Games as Season Lead Designer and at Telltale Games as Senior Narrative Designer, contributing to notable titles such as *The Walking Dead: The Final Season* and *Batman: A Telltale Series*. Michael's extensive background also includes senior design roles at Gameloft, 6waves Lolapps, and Electronic Arts, where key contributions were made to games such as *Iron Man* and various titles within the *Lord of the Rings* franchise. Beginning a career in freelance illustration, Michael transitioned to game design with a solid foundation in storytelling and content development. Michael attended The University of Alabama in Huntsville from 1990 to 1993.
