Nisha Cooch

Nisha Cooch, PhD, currently serves as the Global Head of Medical Communications at Ascendis Pharma, a position held since October 2023. In addition, Nisha Cooch has been the owner of CureComms Advisors, LLC, providing medical affairs consulting since October 2013. Previously, Nisha Cooch held the role of Director of Healthcare Communications at Rational 360 for a brief period in 2018 and was a AAAS Science & Technology Policy Fellow with the U.S. Federal Government from September 2015 to December 2017, where strategic support and communications were developed for scientific programs and initiatives. Additionally, Nisha Cooch worked as a Neuroscience Researcher at the National Institute on Drug Abuse from 2012 to 2014, conducting research on decision-making processes in the brain. Nisha Cooch earned a PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Maryland School of Medicine in 2013 and a BS in Psychology from Washington and Lee University in 2005.
