Adriana Contreras

Adriana Contreras serves as the Lending Manager for Ascendus since November 2014, overseeing lending operations in Florida and managing relationships with community organizations and banks. With experience in roles such as Senior Loan Consultant and Underwriter, Adriana evaluates borrowers' creditworthiness, conducts market research, facilitates training for team members, and represents the organization at community events. Prior experience includes serving as the Hispanic Outreach Coordinator at Florida Watch Action, Inc., where responsibilities encompassed media relations and event promotion. Adriana holds a Master's degree in International Relations from the University of York and a Bachelor's degree in International and Global Studies from the University of Central Florida. Additionally, Adriana has earned certifications in Grant Writing and Nonprofit Management.
