Athanasios Antypas

Athanasios Antypas has a diverse work experience spanning different companies and roles. Athanasios started their career in 2000 as an Application Specialist for Medical Lasers at Ecomed SA. In 2001, they became a Sales Representative in the Contact Lenses Department at Amvis Hellas SA. From 2006 to 2009, they worked at Johnson & Johnson as a Product Manager, responsible for implementing European business strategies and managing various functions. In 2010, they joined Bayer Pharmaceuticals as a Marketing Manager in the Diabetes Care Division and stayed there until 2015. Since then, they have been with Ascensia Diabetes Care, taking on roles such as Marketing Manager for Greece & Cyprus, EU Marketing Manager for CGM, and currently, the Global HCP Marketing Lead for CGM.

Athanasios Antypas has a diverse educational background in the fields of business administration, marketing, international health management, and medical instrumentation technology engineering. In 1994-1998, Antypas obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Medical Instrumentation Technology Engineering from the Technological Educational Institution of Athens. Following this, from 2003 to 2005, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Marketing at the Athens University of Economics and Business. Later, in 2005-2006, Antypas completed a Master of Science (MSc) degree in International Health Management at Imperial College London.
