Michael Spears

Michael Spears, MBA, currently serves as Vice President of Human Resources at PPLSI as of January 2024, while also holding the position of Senior Director of Human Resources at Ascension since December 2020. Prior experience includes serving as Director of Human Resources at Shawnee Milling Company from January 2017 to December 2020, and HR Leader and Workforce Development Leader at SSM Health from July 2012 to January 2017. Michael Spears also worked as Vice President of Human Resources at Unity Health Center from March 2002 to July 2012, and at Busey Resources Group from 2000 to 2002. Educational qualifications include a Master of Business Administration with an emphasis on international business from Oklahoma Baptist University (2008-2009) and a Bachelor's Degree in English Literature and Secondary English Education from the same university (1991-1995).
