Angela Setering has a long and varied work experience beginning in 2002. Angela started as a Social Worker at Good Samaritan Society, followed by a Social Worker role at Augustana Care Corporation in 2003. In 2004, they became a Care Manager at LTCG, followed by a Social Work Care Coordinator role at Univita Health Inc in 2005. In 2012, they held two roles at Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society, Records Coordinator and Caseworker. Angela also held an H-1B Health Care Grant Assistant role at Opportunity Inc. of Hampton Roads that same year. In 2019, Angela was a DAP Assistant at The Servant Center, followed by an Administrative Assistant Office Manager role at Our Lady of Grace Catholic School in 2020. Most recently, in 2020, they held a Program Coordinator, AmeriCorps Partnership to End Homelessness role at The Servant Center. Currently, they are a Customer Support Representative at Ascension, a role they have held since 2022.

Angela Setering attended Carthage College from 1997 to 1999, where they earned a degree in General Studies with a focus in Social Work. Angela then attended St. Catherine University from 1999 to 2001, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Social Work. In 2002, they obtained a Licensed Social Worker certification from the Minnesota Board of Social Work. In 2013, they obtained a DWCP-CS certification from the Dynamic Works Institute.
