Shant Kasparian

Shant Kasparian is an experienced professional in controls software and industrial automation, currently serving as the Controls Software Lead at Ascent Aerospace since November 2018, following roles as a Senior Controls Engineer and Controls Engineer. Concurrently, Shant holds the position of Instructor for Industrial Automation Systems at Oakland University, where prior experience includes serving as a Teacher Assistant. Shant's earlier career includes a Plant Operations Internship at Carcoustics and a notable tenure at BioReliance as Associate Scientist II and I, focusing on assays for product safety. Additionally, Shant contributed to awareness of genocide topics as a Fellow at the Armenian National Committee of America and conducted research at various laboratories, including the University of Michigan and the National Academy of Sciences. Shant holds a Master of Science in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Oakland University and a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from the University of Michigan-Dearborn.
