Ascent
Allen Folks has extensive work experience in urban design and planning. From 1987 to 2016, they worked at EDAW/AECOM, where they served as Principal and Vice President, leading multi-disciplinary teams on large projects. Since 2016, they have been the Director of Planning and Design at Ascent Environmental, Inc., where they focus on urban design and planning assignments for mixed-use communities, corporate campuses, transit-oriented developments, parks, and resorts.
Allen Folks has an Associate's Degree in Landscape Design from Temple University. Allen also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture and Planning from the University of the Arts. Additionally, Allen has a Master's Degree in Urban Design and Landscape Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania.
