Ashutosh Pathak

Dr. Ashutosh Pathak has an extensive work experience in the medical and pharmaceutical field. Ashutosh is currently working at Ascentage Pharma as the Senior Vice President, a role they have held since April 2022. Before that, they were the VP & Global Head of Medical Affairs at Ascentage Pharma from 2019 to March 2022.

Prior to joining Ascentage Pharma, Dr. Pathak worked at Bayer as the Global Head of Medical Affairs for Darolutamide from 2018 to 2019. Ashutosh also served as the Head of North America Medical Affairs - Oncology at Teva Pharmaceuticals from 2012 to 2018.

In addition, Dr. Pathak has held positions at Bristol-Myers Squibb as the Medical Director - Oncology & Immuno Oncology from 2008 to 2012. Before that, they worked at M D Anderson Cancer Center as a Fellow, where they conducted research on correlative translational studies and established and characterized lung cancer heterotransplant mouse models.

Earlier in their career, Dr. Pathak worked at All India Institute of Medical Sciences as a Senior Clinical Research Officer. In this role, they were involved in various initiatives such as serving as the Convener of the National Consortium for Studies on Lung Cancer, organizing national conferences on lung cancer, and being a member of the Indian Comprehensive Cancer Network to draft lung cancer management guidelines.

Ashutosh Pathak, MD, PhD, MBA, FRCP (Edin) has a diverse education history. Ashutosh completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration at Columbia Business School from 2013 to 2015. Prior to this, they pursued a Fellowship in Oncology at the M D Anderson Cancer Center from 2006 to 2008. Earlier in their academic journey, Ashutosh studied Oncology at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, although specific dates for this education are not provided.
