Chris Cole

SVP Finance Transformation at Ascential

Chris Cole has a diverse range of work experience in finance and accounting. Chris started their career as an Audit Supervisor at Coopers & Lybrand in 1989. Chris then moved to various roles in BTR, including Group Accountant and Divisional Finance Analyst. In 1999, they worked as a Finance Manager at LogicaCMG. From 2003 to 2004, they served as a Programme Finance Manager at Aviva. Chris then joined RHM in 2004 as Head of Group Reporting and later became the Finance Transformation Lead. At Emap, they were the Group Financial Controller, overseeing the sale of consumer businesses and the delisting process. In 2009, they worked at Pitney Bowes as a Business Restructuring Manager. From 2010 to 2013, they served as the Group Financial Controller at Torex, where they played a key role in the company's sale. Chris then returned to Ascential, where they held the positions of Director of Financial Control and Director of Group Finance. As of 2019, they hold the role of SVP Finance Transformation at Ascential.

Chris Cole attended Imperial College London from 2002 to 2003, where they obtained their MBA degree. Prior to that, from 1985 to 1988, they studied at the University of Oxford and earned their BA in Geography.
