Hexuan Zhang

Hexuan Zhang has worked as a Data Scientist at Ascentt since May 2022. Prior to that, from February 2020 to September 2020, they worked as a Data Analyst at Digital China Information Services Company. In this role, they constructed a database of 930k logo pictures and used Convolutional Neural Network to identify similar logos. They also labeled people's actions in videos using Python with deep learning packages, achieving an overall accuracy of 85%. Before that, from September 2018 to June 2019, Hexuan worked as a Math Tutor at Preuss School UCSD.

Hexuan Zhang began their education in 2013 at Northeast Yucai School, although the level and field of study for this period are unspecified. Hexuan then attended UC San Diego from 2016 to 2019, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Mathematics. Hexuan later pursued further education and enrolled at the University of Minnesota from 2020 to 2022, where they earned a Master of Science degree in Data Science.

In addition to their formal education, Hexuan has also obtained various certifications in the field. In March 2022, they earned certifications in Python and SQL from TestDome. Furthermore, they completed the IBM Introduction to Machine Learning Specialization from Coursera in April 2022. Hexuan continued to expand their knowledge by obtaining the Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in July 2022. Hexuan then achieved the AWS Certified Machine Learning - Specialty certification from AWS in April 2023.
