Elizabeth Lipschultz

Elizabeth Lipschultz has worked in various roles in the biomedical field since 2014. In 2014, they were a Research Assistant at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. In 2015, they were an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant and Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Chicago. In 2016, they were a REHU Research Assistant at the University of California, San Diego. In 2017, they were a Help Desk Analyst and Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Chicago. In 2018, they were a Programming Intern at the University of Chicago Center for Personalized Therapeutics. In 2019, they were an Informatics Programmer at the University of Chicago Center for Research Informatics. Finally, in 2020, they have been a Software Engineer and Clinical Informatics Specialist at CancerLinQ®. In their roles, they have applied biomedical data science techniques to challenging questions in oncology, written programs in R and Python to streamline biomedical data validation, and developed web-based clinical decision supports, data pipelines, and patient-centered services.

Elizabeth Lipschultz received their Bachelor of Arts in Biological Science with a specialization in Genetics from the University of Chicago in 2018. Elizabeth then went on to pursue a Master of Science in Biomedical Informatics and Bioinformatics from The University of Chicago Graham School, which they completed in 2020.
