Matthew Lillegard

Matthew Lillegard, FCAS, MAAA, serves as the Group Chief Actuary at Ascot Group since 2021, where responsibilities include leading the actuarial functions and collaborating with various departments to enhance analytical capabilities. Prior to this role, Matthew spent over two decades at CNA Insurance, rising through positions including Senior Vice President of Specialty Pricing & Analytics, where Matthew transformed the pricing department, and Senior Actuarial Officer for Reserving, managing over $18 billion in global net loss reserves. Matthew's extensive experience also covers leadership roles in both the Commercial and Specialty Lines pricing and reserving sectors. Earlier in Matthew's career, actuarial expertise was developed at Allstate Insurance as an Actuarial Analyst. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Actuarial Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
