Matthew R. has extensive experience in the insurance industry, currently serving as Chief Operating Officer US and Executive Vice President of E&S Casualty at Ascot Group since August 2020. Prior to this role, Matthew held positions in E&S Primary Casualty at AXA XL from November 2019 to August 2020. Matthew's earlier career includes significant roles at Everest Insurance® from January 2014 to November 2019, where contributions included Vice President/Regional Manager and Director in E&S Casualty. Matthew began his career at Crum & Forster, where responsibilities included Senior Underwriter, Operations Supervisor, and Underwriting Assistant from September 2007 to January 2014. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Spanish from Lafayette College, obtained in 2007.
