James Santiago currently serves as the Technical Officer and Head Executive Assistant at the ASEAN Centre for Biodiversity since February 2020, holding a concurrent role as a Technical Officer. In addition, James has been a Faculty / Assistant Instructor at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines since June 2018. Prior experience includes serving as an Ecosystems Management Specialist at the Department of Environment and Natural Resources from August 2015 to February 2020, and as an Account Manager at Biotriune, Inc. from September 2014 to September 2015. James holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines (2010-2014) and is pursuing a Master of Science in Environmental Science at the University of the Philippines Diliman and a Masters in Environmental Science and Ecosystems Management at De La Salle University.
