Baran Yildirim

Baran Yildirim is a highly experienced engineer specializing in mechanical engineering, with a tenure at Aselsan since February 2014 as Chief Structural Analysis/Measurement Team Leader and former Analysis/Test Engineer. Prior to Aselsan, Baran Yildirim worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at Northeastern University from September 2008 to September 2013, focusing on high strain-rate deformation and gas-particle flow dynamics through numerical simulations utilizing ABAQUS and MATLAB. Additional experience includes a design engineering internship at Tubitak SAGE, where a MATLAB program was developed for design and statistical analysis, and a manufacturing engineering internship at Turkish Tractor and Agriculture Machines Corp, which involved workflow and cost analysis for tractor components. Baran Yildirim holds a Ph.D. and M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Middle East Technical University.
