Ozan Yavuz Baytemir

Ozan Yavuz Baytemir is an experienced engineering professional with extensive expertise in mechanical and system design. Since April 2020, Ozan has been serving as Chief Team Leader at Aselsan, previously holding positions including Chief Engineer/Technical Manager, Lead Engineer, and Senior Expert System Design Engineer. Prior experience includes a role as Technical Lead/Technical Manager at FNSS Savunma Sistemleri A.Ş., where Ozan managed the Medium Caliber Remote Controlled Weapon Turret Project. Ozan's career in design began at Meteksan Savunma, where roles progressed from Mechanical Engineer to Mechanical Design Manager between 2008 and 2019. Ozan also gained part-time experience at Aselsan in early 2008 within the Microelectronics Guidance and Electro-Optics Division. Education includes a Master of Science degree from Middle East Technical University, focusing on Passive Vibration Isolation Analysis and Optimization, and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, also from Middle East Technical University, where Ozan graduated as a High Honour Student.
