Russell Barnes

Russell Barnes is an experienced professional in food specifications and legal labeling, currently serving as a Food Specifications and Legal Labelling Advisor at Ashbury Labelling since March 2016. Prior experience includes working as a Regulatory Affairs Co-ordinator at McCormick from September 2013 to February 2016, where involvement spanned consumer and industrial projects in the UK and international markets. At Legal Impackt, from April 2012 to September 2013, Russell held the position of Regulatory Advisor/Specifications Technologist, focusing on legal pack copy and artwork approval for major retail clients, while ensuring high-quality client service and successful product development. Earlier experience includes a role as Technical Assistant at Duerr's from September 2008 to April 2012, contributing to product development from concept to launch. Russell holds an MSc in Nutrition and Food Management from The University of Huddersfield and a BSc (Hons) in Food Science from Leeds University.
