Mike Spiess

Mike Spiess, CFA, is a seasoned banking professional with nearly 30 years of experience in commercial finance. Currently serving as a Commercial Capital Advisor at Ashdown Capital, Mike utilizes extensive industry knowledge to negotiate optimal financing solutions for businesses. Previously, Mike held leadership positions at Scotiabank, focusing on business development for mid-market clients in BC and Yukon, and was responsible for managing commercial banking teams. Earlier experience includes significant roles at Canadian Western Bank and HSBC Bank Canada, where Mike built strong client relationships and managed diverse commercial lending portfolios. Mike is also a board member at the Surrey Board of Trade and holds a BA from The University of British Columbia.
